GianGusto, from the L\u2019Altra Piadineria S.R.L Group, <\/strong> was born from the deep, thirty-year friendship between its founders Paolo Malfassi and Leonardo Bagnoli, as well as from the different experience and professional skills they each bring.<\/p>\n

Nel 1997, Paolo intraprende la gestione di un \u201cclassico\u201d BAR. Ben presto il contatto stretto e quotidiano con la clientela gli permette di capire come l\u2019esigenza ed il gusto del consumatore non siano pi\u00f9 orientati verso il classico esercizio commerciale ma verso la maggiore ricerca di qualit\u00e0 , artigianalit\u00e0 e tradizione, senza trascurare l\u2019innovazione.<\/p>\n

Thus, in May 2003, the first artisanal workshop for the production and sale of Piadine and Rotoli (rolls)<\/strong> was established.<\/p>\n

The following summer, Paolo brought Leonardo into the project, asking whether his family business, Pasticceria Leonardo S.r.l., could produce a piadina base<\/strong> to be sold exclusively for L\u2019Altra Piadineria.<\/p>\n

Subito Leonardo attiva il reparto ricerca e sviluppo dell\u2019azienda di Vinci (FI) al fine di studiarne la fattibilit\u00e0 e si dedica all\u2019analisi delle potenzialit\u00e0 commerciali del prodotto. I mesi di sperimentazione che seguono, si concretizzano e portano alla realizzazione di un prodotto stabile e controllato, di qualit\u00e0 eccellente, tale da convincere Paolo e Leonardo anche dal punto di vista commerciale.<\/p>\n

The history of the GianGusto \u2013 L\u2019altra Piadineria<\/strong> brand<\/h3>\n

Nel Maggio del 2003 nasce il primo punto vendita a Concesio (BS), gestito direttamente da Paolo Malfassi; \u00e8 il luogo dove l\u2019attuale rete GianGusto prende vita e forma. Il marchio originale utilizzato \u00e8 quello \u201cL\u2019Altra Piadineria\u201d, marchio che ancora oggi \u00e8 utilizzato per il settore B2B della catena.<\/p>\n

By the end of 2003, in-house production of the piadina base<\/b> had already begun, laying the foundation for the future franchise. In the following years, the first stores under the \u201cL\u2019Altra Piadineria\u201d brand opened.<\/p>\n

From Florence to Rome, from Brescia to Emilia, the years between 2005 and 2010 saw the launch of numerous stores of L\u2019Altra Piadineria Franchise.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The decision was made to retain the historic \u201cL\u2019Altra Piadineria\u201d brand for B2B use, while introducing the new \u201cGianGusto\u201d<\/strong> brand for retail. To maintain continuity with the past, the new brand kept the image of the boy eating a piadina, along with the original brand\u2019s color scheme.<\/p>\n

Una scelta quella di differenziare il mercato retail da quello aziendale nata anche dalla crescita che l\u2019azienda aveva avuto negli anni, e nella ricerca di un marchio che raccontasse l\u2019italianit\u00e0 e la storicit\u00e0 del prodotto.<\/p>\n

It was in the autumn of 2016<\/strong> that the most recent transformation took place: the GianGusto brand was refreshed <\/strong>with a new design that better conveys tradition and Italian heritage.<\/p>\n

The new logo reflects a Piadineria Franchise<\/strong> that has matured\u2014one that now appeals to a more discerning audience, appreciative of regional specialties and the flavors that only a true Italian brand can offer. Alongside the new brand identity came a complete restyling of the stores: interiors in soft cream tones, furnishings made from recycled wood to support the format\u2019s sustainability values, and marble countertops to visually express\u2014along with the piadina itself\u2014the beauty of Made in Italy.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t<\/div>\n
